朝辭白帝彩雲間，
千里江陵一日還。

IN the morning we say farewell to Po Ti among the flowing clouds;
It is a thousand miles to Chiang-ling but we do it in a day:
On the two banks the monkeys call without ceasing;
The light boat has already passed through range upon range of hills.
